Vita for iPhone · Practical guides
Which AI personal assistant is best for your iPhone?
Choose around the job you want help with. A quick reminder, a growing collection of notes and an errand across several websites put very different demands on an assistant.

Start with the kind of help you need
| Your main need | What to try | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| A straightforward reminder or list | Apple Reminders, including capture with Siri | Can you set the time, find the item and change it easily? |
| Personal details and next steps in one conversation | Vita | Can it recall your detail, keep the task’s context and let you correct it? |
| A searchable body of notes and work | Mem | Does it retrieve the source you need, and which features require a paid plan? |
| Delegating web tasks | Muse from Meta, where available | Can it reach the actual site, respect your approvals and show the completed result? |

Five checks that matter more than a feature count
- Useful memory. Share a detail, return later and ask about it differently. Check whether you can see, correct and remove the saved information.
- A visible result. After asking for a reminder, look for a saved task with the right time. After an external action, look for a confirmation from the service involved.
- Handling change. Move a deadline. The assistant should update the existing plan and make the new state easy to understand.
- iPhone fit. Try voice capture, the Share sheet and notifications on your device. Features may depend on your iOS version and permissions.
- Control and cost. Check what gets connected, what is sent to AI providers, how to delete your data and what happens when a trial ends.
Where Vita fits
Vita is built around an ongoing personal conversation. Save a useful note, make a checklist, set a reminder, and return to the context later. On iPhone, Your day brings tasks together and Your life lets you review saved personal context.
You can start without an account, share notes or documents, and choose whether to connect Apple Reminders. System alarms need iOS 26 or later. The app itself supports iOS 17 or later and is available in the US and India.
A useful first test
“My appointment is Friday. Help me make a checklist of what to bring, and remind me Thursday at 8pm to get it ready.”
Give the appointment details the assistant needs. Then check the checklist and reminder, change the time, and return the next day. Choose the assistant that reduces the work you actually do.
